TIME TO THINK...CHRISTMAS?
Christmas Time AT the Nursery Twas the Night Before Christmas and all through the Nursery…. Not a creature was stirring, not a person was cursing. Cher in her "Tigers" and Keith in his racing "Cap" Had just settled down for a long winter’s nap. The Kittens were all snuggled warm in their beds Riggins was laid sprawled, looking half dead. When all of sudden there arose such a clatter! They sprang from the couch to see what was the matter. Then what to their wondering eyes should appear But the whole SCNOP Crew From the past years! There was Mary and Gary, who couldn’t decide if each other they dreaded or despised. There was the "Ditto Head Dan" all primped And slouth.. Rick and Tina Kissing and Romping on the bundles of shade cloth. There was Verna in the Greenhouse never to be seen and Jaun who wanted to keep everything clean. Kara & Art hanging so tight, He makes the bagels by day, she feeds the pets at night. There was Al and Mary J, one giving lip, the other trying to keep his pants zipped. Sueann & Justin suited up for the ocean Boat, motor ready to go a coasting. And Scott and Kate were there too… hoping all knew what to do! There was Cliff.. gone in a flash! His friend Jay, looking for the next beer blast. But Low is that a siren we hear…The blaring light! Could it be Rudolf ready for a flight? Twas Chief All with his half-chewed cigar and red light. And Ralph Whitaker remembering his last slide on his motor bike! Tucked in the sleigh, barely out of sight Was Grandma’s Spirit out for the night. Then like a modified race car, away they all flew Like a kite on the wind. Shouting Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all from our beloved S.C.N.
