Keith Stell

Keith started racing in the spring of 1987. He started out competing in the Pro Stock class on a half-mile dirt track at the Ontario County Fairgrounds Speedway in Canandaigua, New York. In his eight years of Pro Stock competition he had one win, numerous top five and top ten finishes, a top twenty in the Mr. Dirt Pro Stock point series, and a track championship.

In 1996, he acquired a 1991 Troyer Dirt Modified Sportsman car, pictured above, and pursued a rookie year at Canandaigua. He competed on a weekly basis with moderate success, and won some heat races. He finished his rookie season twentieth in points.

Keith's favorite racing memories include his first feature win in 1993, and having (15) top five finishes in (20) starts that same year.
